Hello, I’m Hannah.

I am an artist and certifying birth and death doula based in the GTA. My certifications as a labour/delivery doula are through CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association).

I believe in the goodness of the human body and am specifically in awe of the birthing body’s magic. The rhythms and cycles we live in at a physical and emotional level have always fascinated me. It is a privilege to support individuals and families undergoing beautiful, massive, world-shifting transitions.

Therefore, I am also training as a death doula through Durham College. I am currently taking courses as part of their Palliative Care certificate program, which is recognized by the End of Life Doula Association of Canada. I have ten years of experience in the death industry as a cemetery operator and groundskeeper and now it is an honour to support communities in an emotional capacity, not just an aesthetic one.

I am an artist by trade and attended TWU for a Bachelor’s in Art & Design from 2013-2018, working predominantly in large scale abstraction. I dance between many art forms all the time: a blend of painting, writing, photography, music and collage.
